Gethsemani Abby was just up the road from me when I attended the University of Louisville for graduate school.  His poetry, commitment to social justice, and pursuit of authentic living were crucial models in my formative years during graduate school.  This duo reflects both the calm mysticism and prophetic furor of Merton's works.
